Kyle McClelland, Culinary Director of Saltie Girl, hails from Dover, New Hampshire, and developed a passion for seafood and culinary arts on Cape Cod. He earned his Grand Diploma from the French Culinary Institute in NYC and gained experience at notable establishments like The Federalist and Toppers at The Wauwinet in Nantucket. McClelland's expertise in seafood and caviar flourished as the Executive Chef at Caviar Russe in NYC. He later co-owned and led renowned restaurants in Dallas and Brooklyn. In 2016, he collaborated with Kathy Sidell to open Saltie Girl in Boston, earning acclaim from various sources. In late 2022, McClelland took charge of Saltie Girl in Los Angeles, receiving accolades, including a spot on the Los Angeles Times' 101 Best Restaurants in LA.
